Man killed in Bogura truck plunge

A man was killed when a truck plunged into a roadside ditch on Dhanut-Sherpur road at Boalkandi in Sherpur upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as truck helper Aminul Islam, 35, son of Rakibuddin of Ronobirbala in the upaizla.
The accident took place around 10 am when the brick-laden truck fell into the ditch after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the helper dead on the spot, said sub-inspector of Sherpur Police Station Atiqur Rahman.
On information, police recovered the body.
