Road accidents a major concern: Obaidul

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today admitted that discipline has not returned in road and transport sector.

"We cannot deny that road accident is a major concern at present," he said while talking about the contemporary issues at a briefing in his office.

He said he will convene the meeting of National Road Safety Council (NRSC) very soon and will make a task force, if necessary, to bring discipline in the road and transport sector.
