42 held in Bagerhat anti-narcotic drive

Police in a special anti-drug drive arrested 42 people from different areas of nine upazilas in the district on Monday night.

Pankaj Chandra Roy, superintendent of police of the district, said police conducted the drive as part of their efforts to eradicate narcotics from the district.

The arrestees will be produced before the court of Bagerhat Chief Judicial Magistrate after primary interrogations at respective police stations, he said.
