Tyre godown catches fire in Old Dhaka

A fire broke out at a tyre godown in Nawabpur area of the old part of the city on Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke at the godown around 2:30 pm, sad the duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
On information, five firefighting units rushed there and have been trying to douse the fire till filing of this report around 3:3pm.
