1 killed, 3 injured in Noakhali plastic factory fire

A labourer was killed three other suffered burn injuries in a fire that broke out at a plastic factory in Mohamadpur Union of Senbagh Upazila of Noakhali on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Ismail Hossen (30), son of Mohammad Hossen, resident of Mannanagar Chourasta area in Noakhali Sadar Upazila.
The injured were Kesab Chakrobarty, Dilip Chakrobarty and Hridoy Chandra Debnath.
Locals said the fire broke out in the Pusita Plastic and Fita factory around 11:00 pm and quickly spread in the room, leaving Ismail dead on the spot and three others injured.
On information, members of Chowmuhani Fire Service reached there and doused the fire.
Confirming the incident, officer-in-charge (OC) Md Mizanur Rahman said the injured were undergoing treatment at the Hospital.
Necessary action will be taken after investigation of the incident, he added.
