3 houses gutted in Sylhet fire

Three houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Dakhshin Dashpaika village in Biswanath upazila on Friday afternoon.

Amir Ali, chairman of Daulatpur union, said that the fire broke out at the house of one Zarif Ali of the village around 4pm and engulfed adjoining two houses of his neighbours.

On information, a fire fighting unit went to the spot and extinguished the blaze with the help of locals.
