Railway to launch app for ticket sales on April 25

Selling train tickets through online app will be launched on April 28 from Kamlapur Railways Station.

The commuters will be able to buy their train tickets using app once the service is installed. The charge for the ticket could be paid through Visa card, Master card and Bkash accounts.

The process will be easier after launching of the app as people currently buy rail tickets online through the website of Bangladesh Railway, Minister Nurul Islam said several days ago.

"We are also thinking of installing some ticketing booths on the major points of the city so that this station could remain less crowded for Eid holiday tickets," he said.
