3 killed in Bagerhat road crash

Three people were killed after a truck hit a human hauler on Khulna-Mongla Highway in Rampal upazila on Thursday.
One of the deceased was identified as Shohagh Sheikh, 35, son of Jalil Sheikh of Haldibunia village in the upazila.
Rabiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Katakhali Highway Police, said the accident took place at Bhagabazar around 7am.
The victims were killed on the spot when a Mongla-bound truck hit the human hauler, he said.
Police recovered the bodies and sent them to a local hospital for autopsy.
