Hotline opened for updates on cyclonic storm Fani

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has opened up a toll-free hotline 1090 for providing updated information on the cyclonic storm Fani.
Selim Hossain, senior information officer of the ministry, confirmed the development to journalist.
According to forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department issued on Thursday morning, the severe cyclonic storm Fani will hit Bangladesh on Friday (tomorrow).
Khulna and adjacent districts are likely to witness the effects of Fani from tomorrow morning. By evening, the cyclone will reach southwestern districts.
