Mad rush at Kamalapur Railway Station to collect advance tickets

The fourth day of advance train ticket sales marking upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr witnessed a massive crowd in capital’s Kamalapur Railway Station on Saturday.

Thousands of Eid holidaymakers are thronging the station to purchase their desired tickets as the railway authorities started its advance ticket sale on May 22 to ensure the home-goers a hassle-free journey by train ahead of Eid.

Hundreds of ticket-seekers thronged the ticket counters of Kamalapur Railway Station since early morning to have their tickets for June 3 as they look forward to enjoy the Eid along with near and dear ones.

Long queues were also seen in front of all the counters of Airport Railway station with some people waiting for those to open since last night.

The advance ticket of June 4 will be available on May 26.

Return tickets will be available from May 29 to June 2.
