Now nurse stabbed dead in Thakurgaon

Barely a day after the chilling murder of Barguna youth Rifat Sharif, Bangladesh has seen another appalling murder of a 20-year-old female nurse in Thakurgaon.
The nurse identified as Tanzina Akhter succumbed to her injuries at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) today (Thursday) after battling for seven days for life, who was hacked by miscreants in Thakurgaon.
Tanzina Akhter, 20, daughter of Hamid Ali of Salandar Union of Thakugaon, was serving as a nurse of Grameen Eye Hospital of the district town.
She died at 8:00am while undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of RMCH.
Tanzina sustained severe injuries as a hooligan named Jibon of Madrasapara of Thakurgaon town hacked her on June 20.
Jibon waylaid Tanzina on her way to office and hacked her indiscriminately.
Hearing screaming of Tanzina, locals rushed the spot and caught Jibon and handed over to police.
