Quader demands resignation of all BNP leaders

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said all BNP leaders ought to resign from their positions as they failed in everywhere including crating movement, winning elections as well as playing role as opposition party.  

“All BNP leaders, from top to bottom, should step down from their posts as they failed in everywhere. Even, they have failed to stand by the flood affected people of the country,” he claimed.

He made the demands in a meeting at the party's central party office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital.

Quader, also the Road, Transport and Bridges Minister, said, “The Awami League will conduct cleanliness campaign to prevent the ongoing dengue menace across the country. The countrywide cleanliness campaign will start at 11:00am and continued till 1:00pm from July 31.”

He also informed that the central leaders of the party will conduct cleanliness campaign at the AL president's Dhanmondi office and its surrounding areas. Besides, the party and its associated bodies will also conduct the campaign in every wards of the city.
