2 Bangladeshis shot dead in South Africa

Two Bangladeshi expatriates were shot to death by some unidentified miscreants at Cape Town in South Africa on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Md Alam Molla, 34, son of Ibrahim Molla, hailing from Kapashpara village of Bizari union under Naria upazila in Shariatpur and Md Ujjal Maji, 32, son of Shahar Ali Maji, a resident of Kaichkuri village of Vedarganj upazila.
Family members of deceased said a gang of robbers looted valuables from their shop in a super market on Sunday night and shot Alam and Ujjal indiscriminately, leaving them injured critically.
Later, the injured were sent to nearby hospital where duty doctor declared them dead.
Kazi Abu Taher, Deputy Commissioner of Shariatpur, confirmed the matter.
