PM keeps on doing urgent jobs from US

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been doing urgent official business since she left the country for Canada and the United States (US).
The prime minister on Sunday cleared 15 more important files, with singing those electronically from Virginia, US where she is staying now on her last leg of US visit in connection with the 71st UN General Assembly (UNGA).
With these 15 files, the premier in the last two days cleared 24 urgent files, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS by phone this morning.
Earlier on Saturday, the prime minister cleared nine files those were related to important matters.
"The prime minister has also instructed her office to continue sending all the urgent files to her till September 28 to keep her official business running as usual", Karim said.
Like previous ones, the 15 files were also were emailed to the prime minister, thanks to digitization of the government activities, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
The prime minister will leave Washington DC on September 29 and will reach home on following day.
On her return, Awami League will accord a reception to premier, also the president of the party, for projecting the country's success at the UNGA and accomplishing a 'fruitful' bilateral discussion with Canada.
