State Minister for Public Admin visits critically injured UNO Wahida at hospital

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Thursday evening visited National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Dhaka to see critically injured Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Dinajpur Wahida Khanam.
The upazila nirbahi officer was airlifted to Dhaka by an air ambulance on Thursday afternoon as she sustained severe injuries in an attack by some unidentified miscreants at her official residence in Ghoraghat around 3:00am.
According to local police, miscreants entered the UNO's residence on Upazila Parishad Campus around 3:00am, breaking ventilators of the toilet.
They hit Wahida with a hammer on her head, after she approached the intruder. When her father came to save her, they also attacked him, leaving him injured, police said.
