Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 18 more deaths, 1,380 new cases

According to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangladesh has recorded 18 more deaths from the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 5,699.
1,380 individuals tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and the number of novel cases of coronavirus in the country now stands at 3,91,586.
On March 8 this year, the country's maiden cases were reported and on March 18, the first death from the virus was reported.
