25 Jamaat’s female activists held in Kushtia

Police arrested 25 Jamaat-e-Islami women activists from Jhaudia Bazar in Kushtia on Saturday night during an overnight drive.

Tipped off, Mostafizur Rahman Ratan, the officer in charge of the Islamic University Police Station, said that a police team conducted a drive in the Jhaudia Mosque area and detained the 25 activists while holding a clandestine meeting.

They were held by police on suspicion of planning acts of sabotage.

In this sense, a case was filed.
