Four involved in vandalism of sculptor detained: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said four madrasa students were arrested at Panch Rastar More in Kushtia in connection with the vandalization of the building sculptor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Even the incident's instigators won't be spared, he said.

While speaking with journalists at a briefing on contemporary issues at the secretariat on Sunday, the Home Minister came up with this detail.

Kamal said that Abu Bakar, Nahid, Al Amin and Yusuf are the madrasa students who were involved in sculptor vandalism, and they are the students of Kushtia Ibne Masud Madrasa.

"Sculptors are found in many places of the country and we will look after the issue of security of sculptors," Kamal added.
