Dipu Moni distributes 10,000 blankets in Chandpur

On Friday, thousands of blankets for the cold-hit poor people of Chandpur Sadar and Haimchar allocated by Education Minister Dipu Moni were distributed.
Vice President JR Wadud Tipu of the Chandpur unit of the Ruling Awami League inaugurated the blanket distribution on behalf of the minister.
The blankets were handed over between Monday and Friday to members of the areas and leaders.
Representative Saifuddin Babu of Dipu Moni told UNB that the minister had allocated blankets to 14 unions under Sadar Uzazila, 15 wards under Chandpur and six Haimchar unions.
In the meantime, the government has provided 40,700 blankets to the district's poor citizens. They have been distributed already.
