Comilla city, Sunamganj by-polls on 30 March

The chief election commissioner (CEC) Nurul Huda on Monday announced the schedule of Comilla City Corporation polls and by-election for the Sunamganj-2 constituency on 30 March.
The Sunamganj seat fell vacant after the death of Awami League leader Suranjit Sengupta.
Nurul Huda in a media briefing said the deadline to file nominations for both the elections was 2 March.
CEC also said nominations for the Comilla city polls will be scrutinised on 5 and 6 March while the deadline for aspirants to pull out ends on 14 March.
