25km tailback on Dhaka-Tangail highway

A 25-kilometre long tailback was created on Dhaka-Tangail highway following a road accident at Postakamuri Charpara in Mirzapur upazila on Wednesday morning, inflicting sufferings on thousands of passengers.

Highway police said the vehicular movement got disrupted on the busy highway after two trucks collided early Wednesday, leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded from Konabari in Gazipur to Pakulla in Tangail, reports UNB news agency.
