Mymensingh road accident kills 3

At least three people were killed and two others injured in a truck-pickup van collision on Bhaitkandi Sokholla intersection in Phulpur upazila early Saturday.
The deceased are-Shaheed, 42, and Hridoy, 20, of Digharkanda village of Mymensingh, and Idris, 42, resident of Kewatkhali area of Mymensingh town.
A Mymensingh-bound pickup van carrying chickens from Sherpur had a head on collision with a truck in the area around 12: 45 am, leaving the three in the van dead on the spot and injuring two others, said Phulpur police staton officer in-charge Ali Ahmed Mollah.
The injured were rushed to Phulpur upazila health complex, he added.
