Newly elected MP of Gaibandha-1 takes oath

Newly elected Member of Parliament in the Gaibandha-1 parliamentary seat Golam Mustafa Ahmed today took oath at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here.
Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to the MP, got elected in the by-polls, at her office in JS building, said an official release.
Senior secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr M Abdur Rab Hawlader moderated the oath taking ceremony.
Chief Whip ASM Firoze, MP, Whip M Shahiduzzaman Sarkar, MP and Awami League (AL) Organizing Secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, MP were present on the occasion, among others.
