Bangladesh, Belarus relations would be strengthen: Mosharraf

Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain yesterday said the bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Belarus would play a conducive role in enhancing the capabilities in the country's industrial sector.

"Belarus is a tested friend of Bangladesh and the bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries would play an advantageous role in expediting the capabilities in industrial sector of Bangladesh," he said while inaugurating Trade and Service Center of AMKODOR PALASH Industrial Zone, an organization of Belarus, at Palash in Narsingdi.

Belarus Industries Minister Vitaly Vovk, LGRD Secretary Abdul Malek, LGED Chief Engineer Shyama Prosad Adhikari and AMKODR Chairman of Bangladesh Aniruddha Kumar Roy, among other, were present.

Mosharraf said, "I hope that Belarus would be a partner of our development endeavours and the mutual relations between the two countries would be more strengthened in future."
