42 arrested in Jhenaidah

In separate overnight drives in different parts of Jhenaidah district, police arrested 42 accused including four activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on various charges.
Additional superintendent of police Azbahar Ali Sheikh said they conducted special raids in six upazilas of the district and arrested them on various charges.
Among the arrestees, four were Jamaat men, he added.
