Police launch drive at Khaleda’s Gulshan office

Police are conducting a raid on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office in the capital since Saturday morning following a court order.

Police personnel entered the office around 7:30am, Sohrab, a BNP office staff.

Abu Bakar Siddique, officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station, said they have a search warrant issued by the court for carrying out raid on the BNP chief's Gulshan office to find out whether there is any anti-state document in it.

"Police cordoned off the office blocking the two entry points of Road No 86 around 6am. Later, they took position in front of the office and started the drive around 8am," said the OC.

Their drive is underway till filing of the report at 9:40 am.
