Beef Tk 475, mutton Tk 725 fixed for Ramadan

Per kilogramme beef will be sold at Tk 475 while mutton at Tk 725 in Dhaka during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The price of per kg buffalo meat has been fixed at Tk 440 while lamb meat Tk 620, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSSC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon said after a meeting with meat traders at Nagar Bhaban in Dhaka today.
The new prices will be effective in both south and north city corporation areas, Rabiul Alam, secretary general of Bangladesh Meat Traders Association, said while talking to reporters.
Last year, DSSC fixed the beef price per kg at Tk 420 and mutton Tk 570 for the month of Ramadan.
