Khaleda invites Hasina to iftar party

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to attend her iftar party scheduled for June 5.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader and other ruling party leaders have also been invited to the party to be held at the Basundhara International Convention Centre.
A four-member BNP delegation went to the Dhanmondi office of AL President Sheikh Hasina, also the prime minister, with an invitation card on behalf of Khaleda around 12:15pm, said Taiful Islam Tipu, assistant office secretary of BNP.
Former AL assistant secretary Sikander Ali received the invitation letter on behalf of Sheikh Hasina, Tipu told reporters.
