No link between election and filing case: Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday said there is no relation between taking part in the next general election and filing cases against corrupted persons of any party.
Urging the BNP to participate in the election to be held in 2019, General Secretary of the ruling party Awami League said, "There is no link between level playing field and filing cases."
He was speaking while visiting a mobile court of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on the Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Nimtala area under Sirajdikhan upazila in Munshiganj.
He said, "Over 300 Ansar members will be deployed at 10 points of important highways in the country for ensuring vehicular movement and passengers' safety during the Eid."
"A total of 15 cameras would be set up at other five points," he added.
