Bangladeshi diplomat arrested in New York

A Bangladeshi diplomat was arrested from New York in United States.
The diplomat is identified as Shahedul islam, 45 and a deputy Consul General of Bangladesh. He is living in Jamaica.
According to the allegation, the diplomat forced to a Bangladeshi citizen to work in his house without payment during three years and tortured him.
Shahedul seized his passport and forced to work 18 hours in a day, according to the allegation.
Bangladesh Consul General of Bangladesh to New York Shamim Ahsan said Shahedul got bail after signed a bond of US dollar 50 thousand. But he did not get release yet. Police arrested him on June 12.
