2 killed in Shibganj lightning strike

Two people, including a woman, were killed in lightning strike in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Tuesday night.
The two deceased were identified as Ismail Hossain, 16, son of Kabir Hossain of Chaksrirampur village and Moyna Khatun, 35, daughter of Kalimuddin of Baghbari village.
The incident occurred around 9pm as thunderbolt struck them during storm while they were collecting fallen mangoes, leaving Moyna dead on the spot and Ismail died on the way to hospital.
