Homage to Dhaka cafe attack victims

It’s all gloomy on Road No 79 in Gulshan 2 today where five young men armed with guns and knives stormed the Holey Artisan Bakery on this day last year, taking dozens hostage and killing 22. One year later, the world is paying tribute to the victims.
People from all walks of life remembering the victims with flowers.
Around 730am, the Japanese ambassador came to the site and stayed for a while. Deputy commissioner of police the Japanese envoy was accompanied by a number of JICA officials.
The Italian ambassador is also expected to visit the place and he will probably be with a family member of a victim.
Security has been beefed up in the area.
