Road crash kills schoolgirl in Rajshahi

A minor schoolgirl has been killed in a road accident in Gopalpur area on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway.
The incident took place on Monday Morning.
The deceased was indentified as Sadika Khatun, 8, a student of class one and daughter of Sorab Ali of Mathbari village.
Abdul Latif, sub-inspector of Godagari Model Police Station, said a Chanpainawabganj-bound human hauler hit Sadika while she was on way to her school at 8.00 am, leaving her dead on the spot.
Later, police recovered the body and handed it over to her parents, added the SI.
