Electronic media journos in meeting with EC

Election Commission has sat in pre-election discussion with electronic media journalists, a day after holding talks with journalists of the print media.

The talks began shortly after 10:00am this morning at the commission’s Agargaon office in Dhaka.

Among the attendees were Shaikh Siraj, Mozammel Babu and others.

Yesterday, senior journalists and editors of the print media urged the Election Commission to hold a free, fair and inclusive parliamentary election and stressed on the importance of political dialogue.

That discussion included the deployment of armed forces and the provision of “no vote”.
