6 killed as truck turns turtle in Naogaon

At least six people have been killed and eight others injured after the truck, they were travelling on, turned turtle on Naogaon- Rajshahi highway in Haji Gobindopur area of Manda upazila in Naogaon district.

The accident took place at around 9:00am on Saturday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Anisur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Manda Police Station, said that the accident took place around 9:00 am when the goods-laden truck overturned on the highway, leaving six people dead on the spot and eight others injured.
