Trader killed in Satkhira road crash

A trader was killed as a pickup van hit his bicycle in Asannagar area on Satkhira-Khulna highway on Thursday morning.
The deceased is Swandip Sarker, 35, son of Amal Sarker of the village.
The accident occurred when a pickup van knocked the bicycle of Swandip from behind in the area at 9:30am, leaving him injured critically, said Sayem, sub-inspector of Patkelghata police station.
Later, he succumbed to his injuries on his way to Sadar Hospital.
