FBCCI, Singapore Manufacturing Federation sign MoU

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) to strengthen the business relation and to expand economic cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries.

FBCCI President Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) and SMF President Douglas Foo on behalf of their respective organisations signed the MoU, said a press release issued on Wednesday. 

FBCCI signed the memorandum with SMF at ‘Bangladesh-Singapore Business Forum-2018’ held on Tuesday during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Singapore visit.

FBCCI Senior Vice President Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Vice President Md Muntakim Ashraf and the directors were present at the ceremony.

According to the memorandum, both the parties will promote exchange of business information and will render assistance to each other in trade, investment and business events.

Both the parties will also arrange business conferences and exhibitions in respective countries.
