Korean envoy for stronger cultural ties with Bangladesh

South Korean Ambassador in Dhaka Ahn Seong-doo has laid emphasis on building bridges between Bangladesh and Korea through music making cultural ties stronger.

He made the remarks while addressing a musical concert held at the National Theater Hall in Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy recently.

As a part of the cultural exchange programmes between Bangladesh and Korea, the South Korean Embassy arranged the concert titled 'Third K-POP Contest-2017' on Friday evening.

The Ambassador said all the participants of the event are the honorary Ambassadors that can help bridge Korea and Bangladesh by spreading the charm of K-POP and also helping Korea to deepen its understanding of Bangladeshi culture.

Secretary, Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Aktari Mamtaz attended the event as the chief guest, said a press release on Sunday.

This year 10 selected teams participated in the event. Among them Md.
Ayub Ali Tanvir (singer) was declared winner.

Express D'Crew was adjusted first Runner Up while Blue Poppers Dance Crew and D Positive Dance Crew declared the second Runner UP.

The event was sponsored by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy with RTV as media partner.
