Missing man found dead in Chuadanga

Police recovered the decomposed body of a man from water body at Batikadanga village in Chuadanga sadar upazila on Thursday, after he went missing nearly a month back.

Quoting family members, police said Faruk Hossain, 45, a farmer went missing after he had gone out from home to go to his farmland on 27 August.

Later, a general diary was lodged with sadar police station in this regard.

On Thursday evening, locals spotted the body at the water body and informed police, said sadar police station officer-in-charge Golam Hossain.

Police then recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
