Hindu priest, wife found dead in Ctg

Bodies of a Hindu priest and his wife were found dead in their residence near a temple in Chittagong’s Satkania upazila this afternoon.

Police primarily suspected they might have committed suicide.

Swapan Dey, 60, and his wife Chinu Dey, 47, took loans from several local persons and NGOs, Sirajul Islam, a sub-inspector of Satkania Police Station, said quoting locals.

The victims might take poison as there were no injury marks on their bodies, he added.

The law enforcers till last reported are on the spot to recover the bodies.
