2 more Talha murder suspect arrested

Police arrested two suspected muggers in connection with Daffodil International University (DIU) student Talha murder case.

The arrestees are Milon, 20, and Sabuj, 19.

Tipped off, a team of Wari division of police conducted a special drive at Kaptan Bazar in the city on Tuesday evening and arrested the duo, said Wari Police Station officer-in-charge Rafiqul Islam.

Police will brief media about the arrestees at the office of Deputy Commissioner of Wari division (DC Wari) around 10:30 am.

Earlier on October 8, Abu Talha, 22, son of Nuruddin, a 2nd year student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of DIU was stabbed to death reportedly by a gang of muggers at Tikatuli in the city.

Later on October 14, members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Jibon Hossian Litu, 28, the ringleader of a mugger gang, which killed Talha in the city, from Rupsha area in Narayanganj district.
