Dhaka’s rail link with northern region snapped

The rail communication of Dhaka with the country’s northern region remained suspended due to the damage of a rail track near Goakhura Bangura station of Chatmohar upazila in Pabna on Sunday morning.

Pakshi division railway manager Asim Kumar Talukdar said the soil under the rail track moved away for excessive rain in the area snapping the rail link. 

Fixing of the damaged rail track is underway, he added.
