Chotpoti vendor stabbed dead

A chotpoti vendor was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Chittagong on Saturday night.
Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Halishahar Police Station, said a gang of miscreants stabbed M Rasel, about 19 years old, son of Mojib Mollah hailed from Laxmipur district, in Block-A bus stand area at 11:30 pm, leaving him injured.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) in critical condition where duty doctors declared him dead.
The reasons behind the murder could not be known immediately, added the OC.
