Couple, among 3, killed in Natore road crash

Three people, including a couple, were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a tractor and a human hauler on Natore- Bogra highway in Dhal Sarak area on Thursday noon.

Two of the deceased were identified as Shariful Islam, 35, and his wife Reshma, 25, residents of Bhuban Para of the upazila.

Another deceased could not be identified immediately.

Akhter Hossain, deputy assistant director of Natore Fire Service, said that the accident took place when the soil-laden tractor collided with the human hauler (locally named as easy bike) in the area around 12:30 pm, leaving three dead on the spot and five others injured.

On information, a team of fire service rushed to the spot and rescued the injured.

The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital.
