Arms trader held in Rajshahi

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an alleged arms trader along with arms from Losmanpur area in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Sunday night.
The arrestee was identified as Abdul Karim, 24, son of Emaj Uddin, a resident of Jaminpur Purbapara of the upazila.
Based on information, a team of Rab-5 led by camp commander squadron leader Mohammad Syed Abdullah Al- Murad, conducted the drive around 7:00 pm and arrested Karim along with a foreign-made pistol, six magazines, 14 rounds of bullets and a mobile set, said a press release.
