Rohingya man held in Khulna

Police detained a Rohingya man from Paikgacha Bazar of upazila headquarters on Monday night.

The arrestee was identified as Khermen, son of Arman, fled from Myanmar amid persecution.

Aminul Islam Biplob, officer-in-charge of Paikgacha Police Station, said that police arrested Khermen while he was wandering here and there at night.

Later, he was sent to Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar.
