Worker dies in Sylhet stone quarry

A worker died in an illegal stone quarry in Sylhet’s Companyganj upazila today.

The incident took place in Kalirag area this afternoon, our Sylhet correspondent reports quoting Saifur Rahman Khan, officer-in-charge of Companyganj Police Station.

Identity of the deceased and specific details could not be obtained immediately. However, it has been learnt that the worker was buried in a landslide in the deep quarry.
