Youth held with 9,880 Yaba tablets in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a young man along with 9,880 Yaba tablets from Islambagh area in Teknaf upazila on Sunday.
The arrestee is Md Ibrahim, 19, son of Syed Hossain, hailing from Dilpara área of Teknaf upazila.
On information, a team of Rab-7 of Teknaf camp conducted a drive in the area around 1:45am and arrested the youth along with the contraband tablets worth Tk 39.52 lakh, said a Rab press release.
The arrestee was handed over to Tekanf Model Police Station, it said.
