Man held with arms in Munshiganj

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Monday arrested a man along with arms during a drive from Sadar upazila in the district.

The detainee is identified as Md Jahangir Hossain Sarkar, 39, son of Abul Kashem of Maheshpur village of Sadar upazila, Rab said in a press statement.
 
Acting on a tip-off, Rab members arrested Jahangir and seized a foreign pistol, a short gun, three rounds of bullets and a magazine from his possession.
