3 ‘robbers’ held with deer hide, firearm in Sundarbans

Members of Coast Guard, in separate drives, arrested three suspected robbers along with Deer hide, firearm and ammunition from Office Kella and Majher Char areas in the Sundarbans early Friday.
The arrestees are Alamin, Jafar and Monir Hossain.
A patrol team of Coast Guard recovered a Deer hide from the area adjacent to Office Kella in Sarankhola upazila, said a Coast Guard press release.
But no poacher was arrested in this connection.
Besides, another team of Coast Guard arrested three suspected robbers along with a pistol and 401 rounds of bullet from Majher Char area.
The arrestees, firearm and ammos were handed over to Sarankhola Police Station while Deer hide to Dubla Forest Office.
